In the light of this series, the authors situate calcified renal cancers in relation to other calcified renal masses (of various ori - gins) and in relation to adult renal cancers . Due malati sono ancor vivi, senza cenno di ricaduta (+ 7 anni e + 7 mesi di distacco; 1 è morto 10 anni dopo la nefrectomia di un infarto del miocardio; 1 è stato perduto di vista; tre sono morti in qualche mese. Questi tre malati aveva - no un cancro del rene a cellule fusiforme. A proposito di questa serie gli autori rimettono il cancro del rene con calcificazione nell'insiome delle masse calcificate del rene (tutte le origine mescolate) e in quelle del cancro del rene dell'adulto. L o ro dimostrano che qualsiasi massa calcificata del rene deve far pensare anzi tutto ad un cancro . . .
